In addition to writing stat software, I also run individual tournaments.
I have over 10 years experience as a tournament director. A good tournament brings back schools and fans for more money year after year. I bring in my own equipment and I can coordinate the purchase of charts and medals.
Coaches are hired to coach, not run tournaments. You cannot coach and have a smooth tournament. Leaving the tournament to a experienced director leaves you to spend time coaching.
